More detail on this person: Zook, James Karl, age 68, pass away April 22, 2016 of Trenton, Michigan. Beloved husband of Kathy. Loving father of James (Lisa) Zook, Colleen (Kris) Snyder and Elizabeth (Bret) Tirpak. Also survived by his grandchildren Holley, Alpha, Ethan, Miranda and Lucas; his siblings Karen Nachazel, Tom Zook, John Zook and Robert (Judy) Johnstone; and several nieces and nephews. James was an accomplished wood-worker and fine scale modeler. He enjoyed reading, fly-fishing, Nascar and slot car racing. He loved the outdoors and traveling with his wife and family visiting National Historic sites, antique shopping, and visiting beloved friends. He was a proud Army Veteran who served in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot and Chief Warrant Officer 2. Above all, he loved his family and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Contributions in memory of James' life may be made to St. Thomas Episcopal Church
