More detail on this person: Gary Arthur Zolman Kitsap Sun (Bremerton, WA) - Tuesday, May 5, 2015 of Bremerton July 16, 1943 to April 29, 2015 Gary Arthur Zolman, 71, passed on April 29, 2015. Gary was born July 16, 1943, in Kendallville, Ind., to Arthur E. and Mildred G. (Marks) Zolman. He graduated from North Thurston High School in 1961 and joined the Army in 1966. As a helicopter captain, he had two tours in Vietnam in 1968-69 and left the Army in 1973. He retired from PSNS in 1997 after 26 years. He met his wife, Kay, in 1986. In retirement he raised his youngest children. Gary was a member of the Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, NASCAR, the Seahawks, and music. He was preceded in death by his father. Gary is survived by his wife, Kay Reaume Zolman; sons, Barry (Lisa) and Tyler; daughters, Faith and Karrie. Also surviving is his mother, Mildred Zolman; and siblings, Virginia (George) Pate, Terry (Becci), and Brent (Sarah); granddaughter, Reagan; and nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 8th, at 2 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Chapel.
