More detail on this person: Jerry D. Young Jerry D. Young, age 78, of Enterprise, AL, passed away quietly, Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at his home, surrounded by his wife, sister and nephew. Flying was his passion and he was in the US Army for 22 years. After retiring from the military as a CW3 Warrant Officer, he spent his retirement years fishing, hunting and enjoying life. His family members have many fond memories of him. He will be missed by many. Jerry was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Ethel and Harold Fitzgerald and his father, Harry Young. Survivors include his wife, Sigrid Young, Enterprise, AL; sisters, Ima Preston; Gwendolyn Marshall; Cathy Brooks; several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Ruth; Emmi; Edith; brother, Werner.
