West (Ret), husband of Earlene West, passed
away October 8 in his home.
Kenneth was the only son of Homer and Lillian
West. One sister, June, passed away at a young
age. Kenneth spent two years in the Navy after
high school, came out to complete his education,
went into the Army which was the love of his life.
He was a helicopter pilot. He served in many
countries including two tours in Vietnam with a
total of 30 years in service to his country.
In 1954, he was married to Betty Kendall. To this
union came four sons: John, Jerry, Jim, and Jeff,
all reside in or near Dallas, Texas. (Divorced)
Kenneth married Earlene Goodman in 1994. She
has been a loving and devoted wife for 20 years.
Visitation in Greenlawn Funeral Home East will be
Monday, October 13 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Military
graveside service will be Tuesday, October 14 at
2:00 p.m.
