More detail on this person: July 1, 1944 - March 28, 2022 Albert Hughes "Tim" Wilson, III, 77, passed away March 28, 2022. Born July 1, 1944 in New Rochelle, New York, he was the son of the late Albert Hughes Wilson, II and Betty Lou (Mahoney) Wilson. On April 22, 1967, in Abington, PA, Tim married Sandra Vance. She survives him. To their union, they were blessed with two children: Tim (Taryn) Wilson of Centennial, CO and Melissa (John Walsh) Wilson Freyberger. Also left to cherish his memory are his sister, Judy (David) Cullen of Damascus, MD; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Natalie and Stephen Denton of Laguna Woods, CA; five grandchildren: Nicholas (Allison Lantz) Freyberger of Indianapolis, Greta and Ella Freyberger, both of West Lafayette, IN, and Trevor and Teagan Wilson of Centennial, CO; and his beloved dog, Hershey Wilson. Tim was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He adored his wife and family. He proudly served in the Army CW2 during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity, Mount Union College and the NRA. He was an amazing train collector and an avid fisherman. He loved his land in New Hampshire, spending time with his grandchildren, and sharing snacks with his dog. He had the largest heart and was a helper to many. He will be dearly missed. A celebration of life will be held for close friends and family at Tim and Sandy's home on Saturday, April 9th from 2 to 4 p.m. You may call the funeral home for more details. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Tim's name to the Veteran's Administration, the ASPCA, or to the National Wildlife Federation.
