More detail on this person: Bruce James Webster, 66, of Spotsylvania County passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at VCU Medical Center. Mr. Webster was a U. S. Army helicopter pilot veteran having served during Vietnam. He was president of International Air Safety, Ltd. He was an active member of Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association since 2007 and was a volunteer puppy raiser for Canine Companions for Independence. Survivors include his wife Gayle Webster; son Eric Webster; daughter Courtney Webster; sister Lynn Bayer (Howard); brother Bryan Webster (Robin); sister-in-law Linda Werz (Tom); brother-in-law Tom Jordan (Elizabeth); numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved service dog, Halstead. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. A service will be held at noon on Saturday, Aug. 5 at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Canine Companions for Independence (CCI) P.O. Box 446 Santa Rosa, CA 95402-0446 or to Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association 27-2 "Bull Run III" P.O.
