More detail on this person: WYNNE, Oscar Boyd III was born February 3, 1943 in Tampa, FL and died on April 11, 2023. Boyd attended Wilson Junior High and H.B. Plant High and married his high school sweetheart Janice Geraci Massari in 1965. He was awarded numerous commendations while serving two tours in Vietnam flying helicopters in the U.S. Army. Boyd was prede-ceased by his wife Jan. Boyd is survived by his children, Oscar Boyd "Bo" Wynne III (Rosita) and Patricia Wynne Thomas (Clay); and grandsons, Chad Wynne, Walker Thomas and Wynne Thomas. He is also survived by his younger brothers, Lesley Wynne (Gail), Edward Wynne (John Payne) and Norman Wynne (Patsy). In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation. A visitation will be held at Blount and Curry Funeral Home on MacDill Avenue from 4-7 pm on Wednesday, April 19. A memorial service will be held at Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church on Thursday, April 20, at 11:30 am followed by a 1 pm reception at the Tampa Yacht and Country Club.
