More detail on this person: Dennis Wayne Voiles Dennis Wayne Voiles News-Herald, The (Lenoir City, TN) - Monday, June 5, 2000 Dennis Wayne Voiles, 64, of Lafayette, La., died Monday, June 5, 2000, at his home. He was a native of Loudon and had resided in Lafayette since 1967. He retired from the aviation industry, working as a pilot and inspector of engine services for many aviation companies, including 18 years of service with PHI. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard, retiring as major after 26 years of service. He was also a member of the Retired Officers Association. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur Robert and Kathaleen Belamet Free Voiles. Survivors include his wife, the former Jean Parker; sons, Jeff Voiles and his wife Angie of Monroe, La, and Dale Voiles of Hammond, La.; daughter, Mrs. Joby (Denise) John of Framingham, Mass.; sisters, Jean Voiles Zeilmaier and Louetta Voiles Nitzsche, both of Lenoir City; grandchildren, Ami Peyton, Shelly Voiles, Katherine Kleiner, Leslie Voiles and Amanda Voiles. The family received friends 4-8 p.m. June 7 and also from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 8 at Delhomme Funeral Home, Broussard, La.. Funeral service was 1 p.m. June 8 at Delhomme Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Cook officiating. Burial was in Parker Family Cemetery in Andrews, N.C.
