More detail on this person: Michael is survived by his wife of 53 years, Margaret Rae Valabek; his children, Andreya Lyn and Michael Joseph Valabek; sister, Linda Roller and his 4 grandchildren, Elias, Alia, Ava, and Greyson. Services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church outreach program, VHPA scholarship or Gold Star Family Fund, or Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum at St. Michaels Maryland. Listing indicates Mike was a member of 114th AHC however, for at least his last six months in RVN in 1968, Mike was assigned to fly with Green Delta, a four aircraft flight unit in Can Tho (the unit was comprised of four UH-1Hs_one for the Senior Advisor of IV Corps; the Deputy Senior Advisor; the Chief of Staff; and the SA for CORDS with pilots provided by the four aviation companies in the Delta) where he flew an aircraft designated as Green Delta 714, the aircraft assigned to the Senior Advisor of CORDS for IV Corps.
