More detail on this person: Michael Tomsich, 56 Obituaries for May 17, 2001 Las Vegas Sun (NV) - Thursday, May 17, 2001 Michael Tomsich, 56, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 30, 1944, in Ely, Minn. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired Army major, Vietnam War veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Ely. He is survived by his wife, Carol; one daughter, Traci Paniagua, one son, Aaron Tomsich, and one stepson, James Sinor, all of Las Vegas; two stepdaughters, Michelle Sinor of Las Vegas and Elizabeth Carter of Deltona, Fla.; one sister, Susie Wavrin of Ely; one brother, Robert Tomsich of Litteton, Colo.; and 10 grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
