More detail on this person: George Taylor was born in Bainbridge, Georgia and was reared in Georgiana, Alabama, son of the late Scott Taylor and Louise Whitting Taylor. He was a graduate of Georgiana High School and attended Auburn University. Mr. Tayor served his country in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War and was the receipient of the Purple Heart. He later retired from the Army National Guard as a CW5 and the State Standardization Officer. Mr. Taylor was also retired from U. S. Civil Service at Ft. Rucker as a Helicopter Instructor. Surviving relatives include his wife, Becky Roberts Taylor, Abbeville; a sister, Nancy Welch (Ricky), Lacy Springs, AL; and a brother, Henry Taylor (Paulette), Middleburg, FL
