More detail on this person: Roy Lee Tidyman, 78, died Oct. 16, 2014, at Green Forest. He was born Jan. 4, 1936, in Hayes County, Nebraska, to Leonard Lee and Xertha Adelle (Winters) Tidyman. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean and Vietnam wars, retiring after 20 years of service. He was a member of VFW Post No. 7518, the American Legion and the National Rifle Association (NRA). He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Lee and Xertha Adelle Tidyman; two great-granddaughters, Hannah Nicole Tidyman and Tori Tidyman; and one son-in-law, Ron Weathereal. Survivors include children, Monty Lee Tidyman and wife, Mary of Green Forest, Leonard Owen Tidyman and wife, Cindy of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; Nancy Sue Davis of Green Forest and Marlene Jo Weathereal of Berryville, Arkansas; three brothers, Milton Tidyman of North Platte, Nebraska, Glenn Tidyman and wife, Betty of Southerland, Nebraska, and Larry Tidyman and wife, Carla of Benkelman, Nebraska; sister, Beulah Ford of Hutchinson, Kansas; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be given to the Mercy Hospice - Berryville, 804 West Freeman, Suite 4, Berryville, AR 72616, or VFW Post No. 7518, 109 Bunch Springs Road, Berryville, AR 72616.
