More detail on this person: Obituary for Oliver Lyle Stevenson Oliver Lyle Stevenson, 80, of Cheyenne, died Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Lyle was born June 18, 1937 in Fort Morgan, Colorado, a son to Lester and Jessie (Muir) Stevenson. Lyle was married to Carol Dalrymple on June 2, 1957. He served 22 years with the United States Air Force as a pilot. After retiring, he worked as a pilot for Air Life of Greeley. Lyle loved to travel and spent many winters in Texas. He enjoyed camping, computers and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include four children, Debra Stevenson of Cheyenne; Keith (Teri) Stevenson of Denver; Sue (CJ) Johnson of Goodridge, Minnesota; Brian (Wendy) Stevenson of Cheyenne; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Lyle was preceded in death by his wife Carol on December 18, 2006; a son, Richard; his parents; and three siblings, Leo and Paul Stevenson and Pearl Grothe. In lieu of flowers and gifts the family asks that Memorial Contributions be made in Lyle's name to the Parkinson's Foundation. Services will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel, 9209 Ridge Road, Cheyenne, WY 82009.
