More detail on this person: Hudson Schnell Obituary Hud Schnell Hud Schnell passed away on Friday, January 30th suddenly while doing one of the things he loved best, playing tennis. Hud was born to Ralph and Julia Schnell in Buffalo, New York on August 1st, 1936. He spent his early years and attended school in Buffalo before embarking on a military career that lead him all over the world. He married Maureen George, also from Buffalo, and together they raised their two daughters. Hud retired his military career as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1980, where he served as an Army aviator. In 1983, he moved to the Reno/ Tahoe area where he spent the rest of his life. He then taught tennis each summer and skiing at Mt. Rose each winter for the next 20 years. Hud is survived by his grandsons; Jason Parkinson and Zackary Parkinson, his daughters; Laura Frook (Shane Frook) , Lisa Parkinson (Roger Parkinson) and his loving wife Michelle. A service honoring his life will take place Saturday, February 7th at 1:00PM at Walton Funeral Home on 2nd Street, Reno, Nevada.
