More detail on this person: Obituary for Lt. Col. (RET) James J, Rudy Lt. Col. (Ret) James J. Rudy, 73, husband of Mary Goring Rudy, of 712 Tall Oak Trail, Seneca, SC, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014, at his home. A native of Erie, PA, Mr. Rudy was the son of the late James N. Rudy and Rose Trwal Rudy. He was a retired United States Army Lieutenant Colonel and member at St. Paul Catholic Church. In addition to his wife, Mr. Rudy is survived by sons, James Rudy, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL and Jonathan Rudy of Seneca, SC; daughter, Susanna Rudy of Nashville, TN; Brother, David Rudy of Erie, PA; sister, Marjorie Kaminsky of Erie, PA; and two grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Rudy was predeceased by a brother, Richard Rudy. A Mass of Resurrection will be at 11:00 AM Monday, May 19, 2014 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Seneca, SC, with burial at 3:00 PM at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery, Anderson, SC, with full military honors. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Davenport Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wilderness Way Girls Camp School, 175 Camp School Lane, Fair Play, SC 29643. The family is at their respective homes.
