More detail on this person: Greece - Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Sunday, May 3rd 2020 at age 81. Predeceased by parents, William & Margaret Rolfe; former wife, Rita Rolfe. Survived by wife, Caroline; sons, William Rolfe, Robert (MaryAnne) and their children, Justin & Hannah; sister, Susan Ernisse (Charles Thomas); brother, Lynn Rolfe; step-children, Laurel Johnson, Brian Johnson & Randy Johnson; nephew, Brian Ernisse; niece, Kim Ernisse; special friend, Kirk Koenig and his beloved dog, Sierra. Brian was a 1956 graduate of Charlotte High School, a graduate of Hobart College in 1960. Brian loved his country and proudly served in the USMC from 1961-1983 serving both Active Duty and in the Reserves. He flew as a Helicopter Pilot (Captain) during the Vietnam War from 66-67. He retired from the Marines as a Lt. Col. and then went on to join General Motors in 1968 until his retirement in 1991. Brian enjoyed fishing at his cottage in Cape Vincent, hunting at his cabin in Birdsall, golfing and especially enjoyed his Marine Corps. reunions. He and Caroline enjoyed their many winters in Arizona. Due to recent community health concerns, there will be no funeral services at this time. A Memorial Service will be announced at future date. Brian's ashes will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery.
