More detail on this person: Celebration of Life for CW4 Danny L. Richards, ARMY (Ret.), 74, will take place on Saturday, July 9, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Glenn Park Christian Church in Wichita, Kansas. Full military honors will be rendered. Danny was born on February 9, 1951, in Kansas City, KS, to Chester and Elizabeth Richards. Danny was a 1969 graduate of Washington High School. He earned an Associates Degree in Business Management from Northern Virginia Community College and his Associates Degree in General Studies from Central Texas College. He dedicated over 25 years of service to the United States Army. He obtained his ATP license for multiengine land and helicopter. Throughout his military career, Danny received numerous distinguished awards and service medals. After retiring, he continued as a pilot working with multiple companies such as Cessna Share and Flight Safety. He was surrounded by his family at the time of his passing. Preceded in death by his parents and sister, June Jeffers. Danny is survived by his loving wife, Amelia Stoller Richards; children Nanci Arevalo (Javier), Stephen (Christine Borillo); grandchildren Rebecca, Jared, Alexa, Natalie, Kaleb; and his siblings Timothy, Chester, and Nancy Branum.
