More detail on this person: Daniel H. Reigle, 78, of West Chester Township, passed away on October 18, 2024, at West Chester Hospital. He had been a resident of West Chester Township since 1985. Mr. Reigle was born on February 20, 1946, in Dixon, Illinois, to David G. Reigle and Geraldine (Quinn) Reigle. He was raised on a family farm in Dixon, Illinois, and graduated from Dixon High School. Mr. Reigle attended Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois, and graduated in 1968 with a bachelor's degree in Political Science. He received a commission in the United States Army via the Reserve Officers' Training Corps program at Wheaton College. He served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1973 as an armor officer and helicopter pilot, attaining the rank of Captain. His service included tours in Germany and Vietnam. While in the service, he obtained a master's degree in Social Science - Human Relations from Pacific Lutheran University. Upon leaving the service, Mr. Reigle worked for The Procter and Gamble Company in Human Resources and served as Director of Global Product Supply, Labor and Employee Relations. He worked for the company in multiple cities, to include Cincinnati, Ohio. He retired from the company in 2003. He was a voracious reader on a wide range of topics, and particularly enjoyed studying the American Civil War and pursuing genealogy research. Mr. Reigle is survived by his wife of 56 years, Beverly (Butler) Reigle of West Chester Township, Ohio; his sister, Shirley (Duane) Bartelt of Dixon, Illinois; his brother, Richard (Rebecca) Reigle of Allentown, Pennsylvania; his sons, Michael (Ronda) Reigle of Liberty Township, Ohio, and James Reigle of West Chester Township, Ohio; his nephews, Mark (Kara) Reigle and Timothy (Ashley) Reigle; and his grandsons, David W. Reigle and Joshua M. Reigle. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, David G. Reigle and Geraldine Reigle. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 1:00pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 2:30pm at Spring Grove Funeral Home, 4389 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45223.Interment to follow at Spring Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cincinnati Museum Center, MAP International, or the Treatment Advocacy Center.
