More detail on this person: William Allen (Bill) Pullum, 73, of Navarre, Florida, passed away June 13, 2021 peacefully in his sleep after a long battle with dementia. Over the last few years, he may not have remembered most of us, but he left behind a great legacy for all of us to remember. Bill was born on July, 2, 1947 to E.H. (Al) & Betty J. Pullum (Lilge) in Miami, Florida. He married the love of his life. Martha Pullum (Miller) on September 25, 1971. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, well respected businessman & community leader. He was a proud service member of the United States Army as a decorated helicopter pilot with distinguished service in Vietnam. He is succeeded in Death by his wife, Martha Pullum (Miller), his daughter, Paula Stuckey (Brian), his son, Bart Pullum (Rebecca), his most prized possessions, his grandchildren, Corbin Stuckey, Hayley Pullum & Hunter Pullum. His caregiver for the last 4 years, Judy Lemieux. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, E.H. (Al) Pullum, Betty J. Pullum (Lilge) & his brother, James T. Pullum, and his sister, Betty Jean Pullum. Bill loved Navarre! He was instrumental in the early development of the area & was passionate about its prosperity & continuation for generations to come. He dedicated countless hours & monetary donations to make Navarre a great place to live, work & play. He was the Founder of the Navarre Area Board of Realtors, The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, the Betty J. Pullum YMCA, and many other organizations that serve the area for the betterment of the community. A celebration of life will be held at the Betty J. Pullum YMCA on, Sunday, August 1, 2021, at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers & to honor Bill's love of the Navarre community, the family has requested, donations be made to these wonderful local organizations the Betty J. Pullum YMCA & The Starfish Project of NWFL.
