More detail on this person: Terry D. Ohlemeier, Lt. Colonel, USAF (Retired) February 19, 1947 - March 13, 2025 Terry Dee Ohlemeier graduated with a Degree in Physical Education from Kansas State Teachers College in 1970, before entering military service. He retired as a U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel. As a Captain, Terry D. Ohiemeier served in the Vietnam War as a CH-53C pilot with the 21st SOS. He was the pilot of CH-53C #68-10928 (Call sign "Knife 22") during the Mayaguez Operations on May 15, 1975, and was awarded The Silver Star for his combat actions on that day. Link to Capt. Terry D.
