More detail on this person: Steven Leslie Michaud, 79, formerly of Chippewa Falls, WI, passed away in his long time home town of Montgomery, Alabama on 1 March 2025 following an extended battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Steve joined the Army in 1966, attended Flight School, flew Hueys in Vietnam, and later continued flying in the Alabama Army National Guard where he eventually retired with the rank of CW4 following 40 years of uniformed service. Steve was a longstanding member and supporter of VHPA and various other service organizations. To those who knew him, Steve was a distinctly unique individual who will be missed. A Funeral Service was held in Montgomery, followed by interment in Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, AL. Steve is survived by his wife Jana
