More detail on this person: Guy Lombardo Hankins, 84, of Spokane Valley, WA, passed away on October 7, 2023. He was a proud Army Major, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, son, uncle, friend, and brother-in-law. Guy was born on April 17, 1939. Guy is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Burcina, his daughter Kimberly, his son Aaron Johnson, 15 grandchildren, 2 great-granddaughters, 4 brothers, 4 sisters, and many in-laws. He was preceded in death by Georgia Ratliff, Manuel Hankins, Wade Hankins, Susan Chacona, and Nora Johnson. In his career, Guy worked in the hospitality industry, owning an IHOP in Los Angeles. After retiring, he worked at Home Depot in Spokane Valley. He also had a distinguished military career as an Army Helicopter Pilot. Guy had a passion for sports, coin collecting, gardening, and having his grandkids around. He cherished spending time with his family and enjoyed their company. A pending memorial service will be held in the spring of 2024. Contributions in Guy's memory can be made to the ALS Foundation, as he passed away after a long battle with ALS. Rest in peace, Guy Lombardo Hankins. You will be dearly missed by all who knew and alloved you.
