More detail on this person: Ret. Captain Kenneth Canup, Sr. of Columbus, GA, died Thursday, April 24, 2025 at St. Francis Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, April 28, 2025 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev.Sungman Park officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Kenneth was born February 3, 1941 in Hayesville, NC to the late Inez Canup. He served in the Army for over 26 years serving in two tours in Vietnam. He was a realtor with Showcase Realty and owned Young Fashion for 14 years before fully retiring. Kenneth enjoyed playing golf and rooting for the University of Alabama football team. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Yong Canup of Columbus, GA; daughter, Tanya Canup of Atlanta, GA; and son, Kenneth Canup, Jr. of Atlanta, GA.
